Allowing Is the Absence of Resistance.

~~~~Joy Liani Hallman - C.E.O. & Host of The Joy of Life TV~~~~
The Joy of Life TV Interviews Triple Threat Singer/Song-Writer, Actress, Choreographer/Dancer - NISA WARD.
Nisa Ward's interview is followed by our inspirational message, which is:
ALLOWING IS THE ABSENCE OF RESISTANCE.
Many times we are scared to death that we are going to be separated from something or someone or even perhaps that we are not enough. Whatever the story is it’s all in our heads. Half of the time nothing is really happening at all but the ego will present a thought about some form of separation, we’ll entertain it and then those thoughts invite like thoughts and we accept them too until we spin in a downward spiral. We then become afraid that this is happening and that is happening or this is going to happen if that doesn’t happen… Actually, nothing’s really happening at all. The root cause of the entire emotionally toxic drama is a fear of separation. F.E.A.R. is false evidence appearing real and separation is a lie, it’s an illusion.
Remember a time when you were extremely worried about an event and then that “today” presented itself. During the course of that “Today” which is the moment you were worried about the day before, the situation was worked out some how, some way and often times, almost as if by magic. We are provided with what we need as we need it. An old Proverb says, ‘When the student is really ready, the Teacher will appear.” Louise L. Hay states, “When it is time for a new job, the opportunity presents itself easily.”
Resistance is defined as: the opposition offered by one thing, force, etc., to another; the act or power of resisting, opposing, or withstanding.
Allowing is defined as: to admit; acknowledge; to let have; give as one's share; grant as one's right; to consider.
May we consider for a moment that sometimes the very thing with which we have the most resistance is where the greatest lessons are? It is in taking a stand and having the courage to go through the rough currents that we get a breakthrough. By definition, a breakthrough is any significant or sudden advance, development, achievement, or increase, as in scientific knowledge or diplomacy that removes a barrier to progress.
…removes a barrier to progress. So, when there are road blocks, barriers and situations perceived as difficult there are opportunities to learn or as Rev. Michael Bernard Beckwith would say – “There are opportunities to develop, grow and unfold and become more and more of your true self.”
Whatever we resist, persists. Remember, “If the problems or circumstances were less difficult, there would be no need to have someone with your ability to solve them.” – Patricia Russell-McCloud.
So go ahead and allow ~ allowance is the absence of resistance.
